Basically, it's layers and tattooed arms. I love the texture of the fabric, it's feathery but still it's a fabric, if you know what I mean. The makeup consists of natural eyes, clashing against gothic dark lips. I'm curious what made Kate and Laura choose this 'yin-yang'-makeup. All I know is that they did a fantastic job. One thing I'm not so happy about though, is the hair. I would put 'em girls hair up in a ponytail or a long braid.
I adore the layering of the left photograph. One of this spring's major trend will obviously be earthy colors, like brown, grey, dark blue and dark green. Ohhhhh and please, admire the pants. They're punky!! I would not be surprised seeing them on Fashiontoast soon.
You understand why the collection makes me think of birds? I would love to get fake tattoos painted on my arms, unique and beautiful. Take a look at the shoes, too. They match the tattoos.
Phew, now I'm done with my preaching on Rodarte's spring/summer collection. Any opinions? Please let me know.
Stay ooh la la!
This was one of my absolute favourites for S/S 2010. I love the textures, the tattoos, the feathery feel, the whole lot! I've just applied here for an internship..it would be so amazing to work with them!
ReplyDeleteLovely blog by the way :)
